Overview

The Novair 700 is a compact, variable-speed HEPA air scrubber/negative air machine designed for abatement, restoration, and healthcare construction. Despite its small footprint, it delivers 200–700 CFM, runs on a standard 120 V circuit at about 3 A, and weighs only ~45–50 lb—easy to roll in, duct, and dial for precise airflow control.

Installation (setup & use)

1. Place & secure the unit on a level surface near the work zone.

2. Choose mode:

   • Negative pressure: Duct the outlet (10″) to a safe exhaust location

   • Recirculation/positive supply: Return or supply filtered air to the target space

3. Attach ducting: Use 10″ lay-flat or flex duct; keep runs short and minimize bends for best CFM

4. Power: Plug into a standard 120 V circuit; if using multiple units, daisy-chain responsibly and confirm total load

5. Set speed & verify: Adjust the variable dial to reach target airflow/pressure; monitor with a differential pressure gauge

6. Maintain filters: Inspect prefilters frequently; replace when loaded to protect HEPA life
